I have a picture of a young man standing in front of a sign which reads You are crossing the beautiful billie danube thru courtesy of the 12th armd divison. On the back it says - Dillingen, Germany April 22, 1945 I crossed the bridge in the lead halftruck the sign wasn't there on the 22nd but the Krouts were. George Behler June 1945 just looking pretty.

I am trying to reunite this photo with the family. I am not connected to this family and am not trying to make any money off of it.

Jackie,
Thank you very much for this kind act. George Behler was from the Bronx and he was in Co A of the 82nd Armored Medical Battalion. I will contact the unit representative of the 82nd. I don't think we have any of his relatives still active in the 12th AD Assn. I will email you and we'll see what we can do.
