Not sure if anyone can help but my grandfathers burial flag was destroyed in a fire and I'm trying to desperately find a way to replace it for my family. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you so much for any direction. It means more than you know

I'm sorry to tell you that by law only one burial flag can be issued. If lost damaged or destroyed it cannot be replaced by the VA. Their website says community or veterans groups may assist with replacement. I also Googled "Military Burial Flag" and found a vendor who will sell you the standard 5 ft X a 9.5 ft burial flag for $83.00. Perhaps if you check with your local VFW or American Legion post they could help you obtain a replacement for a lesser amount. I wish you luck.

Thank you so much I will definitely look into that. Ya I knew about only 1 and I definitely understand. I can't wait to come to the museum. You guys found pictures for me of my grandfather that no one has and they mean the world to me. I'm sure there is more so I can't wait. Thank you again and stay safe!

Sorry for the delay. Glad to help. What was your grandfather's name?
