Does anyone know where I can find the morning reports for the 23rd Tank Battalion month of March 1945?
Many thanks

I have only ever found After Action Reports available online. Not sure if the 12th has a copy of theirs or not. I do know that the morning reports exist in the national archives, and a researcher I often hire has searched through them for me to learn about a 191st Tank Battalion man in my collection. As I recall, it can run up to $300 because he basically has to go through every page and make copies whenever the fellow's name that you are looking for appears. If the 12th doesn't have a copy, Geoff at Golden Arrow Research is a pretty good guy and would take care of you as soon as things re fully opened back up.

Josh is correct. The National Archives has plans to digitize Morning Reports, but the Covid situation has shut them down for 3 months so far, so it will be some time. If you were to hire a researcher, and Golden Arrow is awesome, it would cost you quite a bit, especially if you were trying to get a set of MR for the entire Bn. I had spoken with Geoff about the MR and I believe he was trying to get a complete set of 23rd MR as the 23rd Unit Rep to help other folks out. For the whole Bn you are probably talking 1,000 pages just for the oversees time. I would recommend waiting for digitization.
