My father, Sgt. James H. Sheridan passed away today on Jan 23,2020 at age 98. I have so many of his army stories. To all those who still have their parents, grandp arents, etc. write everything down. We are losing this generation faster and faster.Go Hellcats!

I am sorry for the loss of your father. Our country has lost a hero. We will not forget what he and his fellow soldiers did to protect us from tyranny.

I will inform the unit representative of the 494th Armored Field Artillery (Ted Glogovac) and the editor of the Hellcat News (Bill Vosseler).
