Sgt. Robert Boice was in the 714th Tank Battalion,
Service Company. I will look for pictures and
information.

Try the following, and check each photo caption. Many are from 714 A, and you want 714 service Co. There are several pages with thumbnail pictures on each one.
Many of the men are not identified. Also, look to the left and click on 2713 Division Photos. Scroll down to
the 714th. Some men are not identified, and one of these may, with luck, be your father. I checked other
parts of the Archives (Hellcat News and Scrapbooks)
and could not find mentions of his name or stores about him.

Finally, look on the left, and click on Oral History Videos. Find Boice. Your father gave an interview.
Just maybe you do not know that he gave this interview.

Hello, I neglected to include this web address
in my previous reply. (I was interrupted by dinner).

https://texashistory.unt.edu/search/?q=714th+Tank+Battalion&t=fulltext&sort=&fq=untl_institution%3ATADM&fq=untl_collection%3ATADP

Look at each photo; many are from 714A and other
units, not from Service Company. Others are not
identified. One of these my contain your Dad's picture.

Hello again, If you Google the 714th Tank battalion,
you will see that you can download the After Action
Reports for December through May, 1944-1946.
(Ike Skelton Library.... about the 8th item on the list).

There are also some memoirs to read, available on this Google
page. Also, on the 12tharmoredmuseum.com
website (the one you are looking at now) go to
BOOKS AND WRITTEN EXPERIENCES. Scroll down to
the 714th. There is a memoir by Myers, I believe.
