On the Texas History Portal, there is photo of the unit accredited to the 12th Armored Division Museum. I believe that this photo contains my father, as his name appears ion the back. However, I have letters that were addressed to my father that were sent to 1st Platoon, Company B, 59th Medical Training Battalion. I am on the Camp Barkeley, Texas Facebook group, but have been unable to locate any specific records relating to the 59th or 61st. Following his training at Camp Barkeley, Texas. Since the museum has the photo of the 61st would the museum have any other photos or other information relating to these training units?

Hello, I found the photo. It has the whole company
and the quality of the photo is superb. I wonder if
you used the ZOOM view, rather than the standard view.
When you use Zoom, you can enlarge the faces and you
should definitely be able to recognize your father.
I note that there were only a few names on the back.
One of these names was your father. If you would
email me with the name, or put it on the message board, I could search the other resources on the Texas History Portal. Did you make sure that the 59th Medical Training Battalion was at Camp Barkeley
or was the letter sent to another base?
