He was in the 714th and earned a Bronze Star.

Hello, I found a wonderful story about Bill Bartelt!!! The writer misspelled Bill's last name, but the unit representative corrected
the spelling at the end of the article.

Bill Bartelt is not in the 17,000 man roster
but he certainly was in the 714th as a medic!!!

The 17,000 Man Roster lacks many names. I would guess roughly 90 percent are there, but that is a
very rough guess.
