Dear Richard, I am a legacy member of the 12Armored Association. I checked the 17,000 members roster on this website. Your father was apparently in the Headquarters Company of the 56th Armored Infantry Battalion. Please contact Frank Barndollar, 102 Sparrow Street, Keene, New Hampshire 03431
(603) 352-3388. He is the Unit Representative and he is also the editor of the Hellcat News. He can put a notice in the Hellcate News (a monthly newsletter).

One person from Headquarters Co. who might be helpful: Phil Clarke, 23 Evergreen Street, Cortland, New York 13045-1109
(607) 756-5568,

If you send me your address, I can mail you a roster of Headquarters Company. My email is geomike@buffalo.edu

Yours truly, Mike Woldenberg

I cannot beleive that the United States Army has no record of my grandfather uther then what i have supplied. There must be someone that knew of or has some record of Laurence E Schroyer of Maryland C co 56th from jan 44 to KIA on Mar 31 45. KIA in Troublesheim ( spelled something like that ) HELP, my Mom was only 2 then and Grandma Ruth is dead.

Fuck! I've been at this for 7 years and still know nothing other then general info.

I am a lifetime member of the Hellcat news in hope some story might reflect Laurence ( army miss spelled it as Lawerence ) Schroyer, but to none prevail.

I will destroy the earth if none to bear my demands.
