I have a 12th Armored patch that a boyhood friend of mine gave me in the early 1960`s. It was his dad`s, and I`m assuming it`s a WWII era patch since I can`t find any info on the 12th Armored in the Korean war. I believe his last name was Gee(sp)? Not much to go on I know......

Hello, Wai N. Gee from Spofford Ave in San Francisco was
a member of the 56th Armored Infantry Battalion. I am unable to find his Company but I will work on it. I am checking old issues of the Hellcat News but no luck as yet.

The 12th Armored was demobilized in November or December of 1945. Thus it did not participate in the
Korean War. However, several men from the 12th Armored did fight in Korea, including some who were killed.
