Ok so I am looking for either people who may know my grandfather or relatives of people who would have been in my grandfathers division. His name is Kenneth G Croy from Princeton WV. He is still living and he will be 92 on Feb 5th. He talks about his experiences that he had in WWII every chance he gets and we love hearing them. I also have quit a bit of stuff that he has given my son and myself of his devision and pictures. He was a T/5 Cpl. 92nd Mechanical Cavalry 12th Armored Division and was part of the Mystery Division. If anyone knows anyone that was with him could u please let me know? Thank You So Much

Hello, Your grandfather was a member of
Squadron Headquarters,
92nd Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron
(Mechanized).

The unit representatives can put a request in the
Hellcat News. Please contact

Connie Olson: rcolson@nemr.net
Judy Jansky: jjansky@hot.rr.com

Have you looked at the section called BOOKS AND WRITTEN EXPERIENCES (on the left column)? Scroll
down to the 92nd Recon and read the memoirs there.
Also, check out the many Oral History Videos on the left
column. Click on Battalion and all the men from the
92nd will be together.

Mike W.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I will surely contact the two people you have provided for me. I haven't looked at that section just yet. I have looked at some photos and have taken some screen shots to show my grandfather when I see him. He may just know some of the people in the pictures. I have a couple of books he has given me like The Last Offensive U.S. Army in the World War II and I think the other is Hellcats. He has went through the first book I named and underlined some things. I also have some pictures of him and some guys in is division. I will go look at those other topics you named. Again thank you so much for contacting me back and if you run into any other helpful info please contact me. I have created a profile on this site now.
