How to research the

West Texas Digital Archives

for 12th Armored topics and photos, etc.
GO TO GOOGLE AND ENTER:

http://texashistory.unt.edu/explore/partners/TADM/browse/

Now suppose you want to find out about a soldier, for instance "Lexie Baker" (It helps to use quotes in many cases).

Click on: EXPLORE THE HOLDINGS OF THIS PARTNER...

Enter in the box on top: "Lexie Baker"
or the name or topic that you want to research. Then click on SUBMIT.

***Thumbnails will appear. Click on the top thumbnail. (August 1975). Now click on
the box at the top that contains the name
"Lexie Baker". Up pops another thumbnail
that says SEQUENCE 7 (meaning page 7).

Click on this thumbnail. The page 7 appears
and the name Lexie Baker is colored yellow.

How to go to the next thumbnail in "***Thumbnails will appear..." :

You do this by clicking on the back arrow until you get to the column of thumbnails. Click on the next unread thumbnail, and procede as you did with the first thumbnail.

Now and then you might have to start over with the original entry into GOOGLE:
