John passed away on Sunday, 20 April 2014. He talked fondly of his time in the 92nd. Cav. Recon (Mecz). He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Dave, I am so sorry to hear that your father has died.
Tonight I will give you an address of the Unit Representative to
the Hellcat News for 92nd Recon. Please send an obituary to the Rep.

The men of the 92nd were often in front of the whole
Division, leading the Division through Germany.
They were excellent soldiers.

Mike

Dave, Please contact the Unit Representative to the 92nd Cavalry Recon, Connie Olson.

rcolson@nemr.net

Connie will put an obituary in the Hellcat News. You can give information about the family, and your Dad's job and interests.

in Books and Written experiences look for History of the 92nd and then Troop B. PG.45
He isn't mentioned but what they were doing is well covered. SN 33619441
