First of all, THANK YOU VETERANS!! I was hoping to find info regarding the location and circumstances surrounding the destruction of his tank by a 150mm shell mentioned on page 100 of the Squadran History.Perhaps there are some post action reports or something someone knows about.Many thanks in advance.

DO YOU KNOW IF THEY NAMED THE TANK AND DO YOU KNOW THE NAMES OF ANY OF HIS CREW? WILL HELP IN FINDING MORE INFORMATION

To Guest: No info on tank name, I only know it was a light tank. I believe his crew may have been Mr. Claude Thacker and Mr. C. Mosser as there are hand written updated addresses in my Grandads copy of the roster. Their names were also mentioned in letters home. Mr. Thackers name was in the roster, but I did not see Mr. Mossers.Thank you for the reply. David

cLIFFORD mOSSER AND cLAUDE tHACKER ARE BOTH LISTED IN f tROOP ON A ROSTER THAT i HAVE.
Battle was near Mutterstadt and I will keep looking for more dtails. Harry
