I am looking for info on the specific location where the 12th Armored refitted near Starsbourg, France in January 1945.

A friend who flew P-47s in the 367th Fighter Squadron of the 358th FG(Orange Tails), was attached to the 12th as a Air Controller for two weeks in January.

I am trying to retrace his steps.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Official reports will be invaluable.

Thanks

GOOD ARTICLE - might need to copy and paste the address.
I will still look to see if there are any references in the 12th's files.

Thanks!

Tommy called tonight and offered to send his snow shovel to me with all the snow we are having in Alabama! I was thinking I need to look back into this and low and behold here was this message!

Please look! It will be a great achievement if you find any info for him. And it will fill on some gaps in his history.

The article you linked to is awesome. We are trying to get the Distinguished Flying Cross for him, but that Achievement Medal is as close as we have gotten. There is still too much red tape for WWII veterans.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards
