Hi Eric, Dave didn't spell his email
address correctly. He wrote: veizon.net

He should have written: verizon.net

His correct full address is:

Let's hope he has not changed it in the past
6 or 7 years when he last wrote on this site.

Here is how I found him:

At the top of this screen, you can read the
word "search" Click on that and
type in Motteram

Then you will see all the messages relating
to the Motteram name.

When I did this I discovered Dave's email
in August 2006. I also discovered a
wonderful thing: Bill Black wrote several
months later in April 2007! It is likely that Dave never saw Bill's message. Frankly, I forgot about this correspondence.

Bill says his father told him the story about Maurice Motteram. It so happens that Bill Black and I have been in
touch before, and he has been very helpful to me. I suggest you contact him.

Here is what Bill Black wrote:

Dave, My father was with the 56th AIB in Herrlisheim. He was with your uncle when your uncle was killed. Please contact me and I will tell you the whole story as my father related it to me.
