Does anyone have any information regarding PFC Emile V. Schumert of Company B? He is my grandfather and I am trying to learn more about his wartime experiences. He died long before I was born.

Re: Emile Schumert B-66

Hello, I have checked my rosters (which are
not complete) and I have not found your father's name. I suggest that you contact
the Unit Representative to the Hellcat News:
George O'Bryan. geoo@htc.net
(618) 282 6079

George can put a notice in the Hellcat News.

In addition, look on the left column. Go to the Archives on the
Hellcat News, and enter his name for all issues at once, and see what you find.
Also, go to Oral History Videos on the left.
Then click on Battalion, and this will group
all the interviews of the same Battalion.
Find the 66th. Within that, look for company
B. You may learn something about your father's experiences.

Sorry, I meant to say

Grandfather instead of father.
