Hello! I have reading through some old HCN and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the book mentioned "493rd book of reminiscences" is available? I would love to get my hands on one if possible. Does anyone remember it? Thanks

I have just borrowed the following volume from a friend:

THE PICTORIAL HISTORY OF THE 493d ARMORED INFANTRY BATTALOION OF THE 12th ARMORED DIVISION IN THE EUROPEAN THEATER OF OPERATIONS.
edited by Tec 5 Paul H. Shepard Jr.
Written and Photographed by the Officers
and Men of the Battalion. 1945

Printed by E. Kieser KG, Augsburg, Germany

This book has a day by day summary of the
combat. You might be able to go to a library and request a copy by Interlibrary Loan. Perhaps the Museum has a copy.
