Charles was my uncle. He died in the early fifties. If anyone has information about him the family would be grateful to hear from you.
He was with the 12th from Camp Campbell on.
Thanks duane

Hi, Please let me know the tank battalion
and also the company for Charles Finley.
Sometimes the Roster is not complete and
this is the case for Charles Finley.
There were three tank battalions. The 23d
(and there is a book on that battalion on our website which may have his name in the text).
Also, I checked the book on the 43d, and he is not in their roster. Finally, we do not
have a book on the 714th. Also, there were a
few tanks scattered in other battalions.

Lastly, just to be sure, there was the 44th
tank battalion that fought in the Pacific area, and finished in the Phillipines. I guess Charles Finley was not in that one.
Once we know the battalion, and especially
the company, we can get some answers more easily.
