It is my sad duty to report that my Grandfather, John Calvin Vipperman of Co. C, 66th A.I.B., passed away last Thursday, May 3, 2012. If anyone from C. Company or anyone who knew him would like to share any stories or pictures, please get in touch.

Dear Scott, I am very sorry to hear the news.
I will pass the information to the Unit
Rep to the Hellcat News. He can place an
obiturary in the News.

Can you tell me if your grandfather was a member of the Association (and received the
Hellcat New?) Also, have you seen a copy
of the book: C - 66 ? This was authored
by "Muscles" Emery. It is very comprehensive. I can check to see how
often your grandfather was mentioned.
I believe the Museum has copies to sell.

Finally, there will be a big reunion
in Abilene Texas, Aug. 1 Wednesday, leaving
the following Sunday. If interested, let me know.
