My grandfather is Wilbert Plautz of the 119th armd eng bn co B-before his death he told me some stories about the war. I have a map of highlights from Oct. 1944 to May 1945 and many pictures. I was wondering if there is any paper work or other stories about his bridge building and interpreting? Thank you, Rachel

Hello M Williams,

The unit representative to the 119th Armored
Engineer Battalion is Mary Ann Delker.
She can put you in contact with veterans of
Company B.

Also, Click on BOOKS AND WRITTEN EXPERIENCES
on the left side. You can find the two or
three books at the top which cover the
history of the Division, with chapters for
each battalion.

Also click on ORAL HISTORY VIDEOS.
Click on Battalion, then find the 119th.
Find the men from Co. B.

Yours truly, Mike Woldenberg
