Searching For information on relative, 2nd Lt. Donato L. Liuzzi, 12th, 494th Armored Field Artillery, KIA Anzio, Italy. "Danny" attended OCS at Fort Sill, Oklahoma Class #69-43, and hailed from Boston's South End Neighborhood here in Massachusetts. Any remembrances greatly appreciated.
Merry Christmas to all, and thanks for your service to our Great country.

I believe that Danny Liuzzi belonged to a different battalion
because the 494th Armored Field Artillery did not
fight in Italy. Can you check his documents for the
correct battalion and division? Perhaps it is a 494th
but not a field artillery.

Thanks for your response-I apologize for my limited information and any inaccuracies are entirely my own as I have limited, initial information. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Hello again. I looked up Lt. Donato D. Liuzzi
on the web. His Army ID number was:

ID: 01183116 and he was from Suffolk County
Massachusetts. This is probably Boston.
Contact Ken Klinedinst at

kbk@mcttelecom.com

He will tell you how to procede to find out
Lt. Liuzzi's Division, and probably Battalion.
