Remembering Today the the 67th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy. My Great Uncle George Tweed was a Medic at that time with the 12th Armored Division. He has Passed Away and I have inherited his priceless artifacts from the Time. That`s how I found this website... My hat is OFF to you all.,Mike, www.18th-artillery.com

Mike, Your great uncle was a medic with the 119th Armored
Engineer Battalion. Just yesterday I found a wonderful article
by Bernard L. Rice, a medic with the 82 medical battalion.
This is really worth reading:

GOOGLE

Bernard L. Rice Recollections

You should click on the website that contains Indiana History Magazine.
Click on Index
Click on WW2
Click on the Rice ARTICLE

Mike, I just looked up the 18th Artillery
and discovered they were in Viet Nam. Thank
you for your service.

Mike (Legacy member or "2nd generation").
