posted 2/17/2011 1:19:01 PM I am looking for information on my uncle that was killed in action in World War ll. Pfc. John Harold Robinson from Alabama, age 31, was killed in action April 10. 1945 in the town of Reusch, Germany, listed as Infantry with the 17th Armored Infantry Division. Pfc. Robinson servied in North Africa in 1943, Italy 1944 and was a replacement to the 17th Armored sometine in Late January or early February 1945. There were three Americans Disinterred in the civilian cemetery in this town, Robinson, Welch and Stygar. What I am looking for is when Pfc. Robinson join the 17th and how he was killed. Some of this was posted in the "Hell Cat" late last year. In the book "World War ll Experiences of Carl J. Lyons" gives some details of what happen on this date and place but no names. Thanks to all Veterans. James Lindsey
