I am looking for anyone that knew (or had any information on) my father, Frank Novatsky. He was a Corpsman / truckdriver with the 56th Arm Inf Battalion, HQ and was wounded near Mutterstadt, Rhineland. Thank you.

Dear Frank, I have some documents at home,
but I am in California until the end of the
month. In the meantime, look at the
BOOKS AND WRITTEN EXPERIENCES, and scroll
down until you see: HISTORY OF THE 56TH
ARMORED INFANTRY BATTALION. This contains
a diary of who was wounded, where and when
and lots of other facts. Also, contact
Otis Shull: firstname.lastname@example.org
He is the unit representative. I also can
put you in contact with Dr. Brendan Phibbs,
who was a surgeon with the 56th. He may remember your father.
Yours truly, Mike Woldenberg
Do you know which Company your father may have been attached to?
