posted 12/1/2009 6:14:30 PM Dear Scott, I suggest that you contact Gene Curry hellcatww2@yahoo.com (541) 962 0238 Gene is a veteran.
Also contact Mary Anne Delker, the unit Representative to the Hellcat News. She can ask veterans who knew your grandfather to contact you. mdelker@att.net (636) 928 5391
I suggest that you look in the left column for videos by Buzzard, Curry, Kohr, Salisbury, Tervay.
The first few books on the Division History will have scattered articles. (see on left: BOOKS AND WRITTEN EXPERIENCES).

posted 12/9/2009 6:31:07 AM The difficult part of the 119th is, each Company in the 12th had men from the 119th attached to it. So if Spears was in A /119 he could have been attached to C/66. This drives the answer to the question to a broader view of the 12th's battle history. The researcher must accept these battles as the answer to the question. It is conceivable, 10 men from 119th were assigned to C/66 on Jan 10, 1945 but reassigned to B/66 on Jan 14, 1945. From http://www.12tharmoredmuseum.com/battles.asp this list generally answers the question Regards, Ken
