Hi,

My father, Earle E. Corcoran, is in the kia list for the 43rd tank batallion, but not in the members list.

I'm also looking for a member of the 12th division, Henry Bono, who is not listed.
He was my fathers best friend and witnessed his death at Herrlisheim on Jan 16th, 1944 as the bow gunner of the first tank hit that morning.

Dear Mike, Go to BOOKS AND WRITTEN EXPERIENCES on the left column. Then scroll way down to the UNIT HISTORY OF THE 43 TANK BATTALION. Then go to Headquarters Company. Then go to page 47 and you will find a paragraph on your father. He was killed with Lt. Hoeg and Lt. Craemer.

Thus your father was in HQ Company of the 43d Tank Battalionl. Pfc Henry Bono is not a member on the 2003 Roster. He may not be living.

Please contact Mark Ault, the Unit Representative of the 43d Tank Batt. He can contact someone who may know whether Bono is still alive or who may have known your father.
