My Dad talked a lot about the 12th Armored Division. I know that he served with Battery A, 493rd Field Artillery. My father had a photo of him self and a Sgt John Sarnick, that must have met a lot to him because he sealed it in plastic. Of course died in 1989, but I would like to correspond with any soldiers that knew him. Dad was a cook back in WWII. Thanks to all you 12th AD soldiers that served.

Dear "Army Vet"
Please contact Marvin Bertelson (493C). He is the Unit
Representative to the Hellcat News. Marvin can put an
announcement in the News. Ask him for some names and
phone numbers, etc. of living veterans from 493 A.

call. (408) 739-5958.

Thank you for your service.
