I would like general information about the unit and their movements/battles and if anyone knew him. He talked only once or twice about his service time and I want to pass his legacy on to the next generation. I am his daughter in law.

Hi Gail,

I am a Legacy member and the unit rep for the 134th AOB. I was not in WW2 but had an uncle who was in the 12th AD and KIA.

To answer your questions, I’ll put a notice in our monthly newspaper the HELLCAT NEWS. If you have not looked at the “books and experiences tab” “photos from the 134th AOB 12th AD” and Vol one and Vol 2 history books located on the left side of website start there. Also look at the tab “2713 Photos” located in the same area.
Scroll down until you see the 134th. These pix can be expanded by left clicking on them.

In the meantime I’ll dig through the stuff I have and see what I can come up with.

Regards,

Ken
