My step-dad is Harry J. Carter and just recently has he started to share some of his stories with me. It sparked enough interest that I wanted to see if anyone here knew him or served with him.

Note: Harry Carter was in the 12th AD, 56th AIB

Many 12th AD vets have email but don't view this site.

Please post your email address, or re-register and add your email address.

That way I can forward your message and email address to the correct vets.

Hello, I am Mike Woldenberg and my email is

geomike@buffalo.edu

I am a legacy member of the 12th Armored Association.

I know several members of the 56th, and my Uncle, Lt. Chuck Willis, was with the 56th
when he was killed on March 23, 1945. Please ask your stepfather if he knew Chuck.

I have a good deal of information on the 56th. Also, you might contact the Unit
Representative, Otis Shull,

ogsjss@aol.com

Yours truly, Mike Woldenberg
