posted 7/4/2007 3:30:12 PM A member of my DAV chapter tells me that he was in the 22nd Armored Division but that unit was not recocnized as such. He also tells me that he rode a Harley Davidson military motorcycle while with this outfit. Last but not least, he mentioned the 94th Infantry . I think he was in this outfit also. He did mention to me that he served under General Patton. Can some one shed some light on this subject.
Thank You,
Frank

posted 7/11/2007 3:48:17 PM Dear Frank, There is a very good website for the 94th Infantry Division. Use Google to find it. They were involved in the Battle of the Bulge, and it is possible that they were at one time under command of General Patton. The 22 Armored Division may have existed, but if it did, there is very little I could find on the web. Also, I note that there is no unit within the 94th Infantry that is labeled 22nd. If I find out anything else, I will let you know.
