posted 4/4/2007 11:11:53 AM I am looking for more info or someone who knew my father. From the few stories he shared, I know at some point he carried half of a radio and the guy carrying the other half was killed, was in the part of the army that joined up with Patton's for a while, saw some concentration camps and I remember him saying that towards the end of the war, the germans had no gasoline, so horses would pull their equipment.

posted 4/4/2007 3:14:27 PM Hi,
I am a Legacy Member of the 12th AD Association. I searched for your dad on the 17,000 members list on this site, negative results. Are you sure your dad was with the 12th Armored Division?

posted 4/4/2007 3:24:49 PM I found him on the list of 17,000 names and in the book section, 12th Armored Division Association 25th Anniversary 1947-1972, Roster section at the end of the book in the section named Division Artillery.
I will double check his papers that I have when I get home, I am at work now.
