Hi Gloria,

Your posted message, states your dad was in the 66th Infantry Battalion, not to split hairs but, the 66th Infantry Battalion was not part of the 12th Armored Division. Could your dad have been in the 66th Armored Infantry Battalion, which was part of the 12th AD?

Regards,

Dear Gloria, I found your father's name in
the "17,000 members" Roster on the left of
this screen. He was from East St. Louis,
Illinois. He was a member of the 66th
Armored Infantry Battalion, but unfortunately, his company was not given.
I looked in the Index of a book on Company
C of the 66th. ("C-66"). His name was not
there, so I assume he was in one of the other
companies. I suggest you write
George O'Bryan.
email: geoo@htc.net

George is the Unit Representative. He can put a notice in the Hellcat News.
