In the photo Album, either page 56 or 57 is pictures of staff members. On the bottom row, 2nd from the left is a picture of Capt. Donald D. Moore, my step-father. He died 20 Sept 1983 from brain cancer at a hospice in Monterey Calif. I have his SS# but not his service number. I also cannot find him in the 12th AD roster. Any help would be appreciated.

Dear M squared, I am a legacy member of the 12th Armored
Association. Because of some peculiarity of my computer or the website, I can not be sure if I found page 55 or 56. However, I did find a page with individual portraits of
unit commanders. To verify that I am on the right page,
please give me the caption under your stepfather's name,
and, just to be sure, the caption under the name just to
his right. Assuming I found the right page, I think I can trace the units as they were renamed and or transformed
later on in the war. Then I can get you in contact with the
appropriate unit representatitive.

Yours truly, Mike Woldenberg

Dear M squared, Your stepfather was with the Division Headquarters Company. Since this is the only information
we have, I suggest you contact the unit representative so he can put an announcement in the Hellcat News. I suggest you
send in that particular picture so that it can be published as well. Here is the address:

W.W. Hardin
