Did anybody know Dennis Euratte, he was my uncle and never talked about the war much. What did the Service Company do?

Hi,

The responsibilities of a tank battalion Service Company was to take ammo, gasoline etc by truck up to front lines for re-supply. Once the material was offloaded, they picked our dead soldiers and returned with them to the Grave Registration unit.
