I recently found my father's name on the roster for the 66th Company C. Does anyone remember him? I would very much appreciate hearing from anyone with information. Thank you!

I am a Legacy member of the 12th Armored Division Association and I think I have found a veteran who knew your dad. His name is Everett Riggs, (806) 362-4377, Po Box 335, Texline, TX 79087. I spoke to him a last year when looking for info about my uncle who also was C-66 and from CT. I moved from Cromwell, CT to NH 10 years ago.
I suggest when you contact Everett, call him first, the follow up with a letter to reference your conversation.
I know Everett knew your dad because I have a group shot photo of him with your dad and others. I believe the others are deceased. I’ll scan the photo and email it to you. I have to find it in the stack of pics I have. I kept looking at the name Tropeano in your message trying to remember where I saw it.
Before your dad was in C-66 he was in HQ – 56, I don’t have much info on the 56th but know of some members who may be from HQ -56. Give me time to work up a list for you.
