Thanks to all the Hellcats, and others who have made this website so great to use. And also many thanks to the younger generation hellcats and hellkittens who have contributed so much to the memories of the 12th AD.

Hi Grover,

A few years back you gave me directions on how to find info about my uncle who was killed 16 JAN 45. The source was the VA the data they provided pinpointed his first training camp and correspondence between the Army and his parents, referencing insurance payments. I have passed this on to others; hopefully it will help them also.

Regards,

Hi. Ken. It's been a long time, and I don't remember what transpired a few years ago. What was your uncles name? Did ye train with the 8th Armored Division at Ft. Knox in 1942, and then go on cadre to Camp Campbell, Ky? If he was in the 12th Armored Division during the war, you might be interested in some of the stuff I have put together over the years. Most of it is already on the website, but mine is unique, only because is not very organized. Let me know if you want some of this stuff. Grover
