Hi Noble,

I am a Legacy Member of the 12th Armored Division Association.

My uncle C 66 AIB was KIA 16 Jan 45 at Steinwald .

Myself and others respond the 12th ADA message boards attempting to help those looking for information about their friends and loved ones. How would you like to pass your stories and photos on to the Association? I looked for your name on the Association roster but did not find it. But I did find your name on the “Members” tab of this website.

The Association publishes a news letter called “Hellcat News” and this could be one place your stories and photos could be viewed. Also there is a 12th AD museum in Abilene, TX. You may already know all this but I would like to offer my help with your desire to share the stories you have.

Please reply to me directly at kbk@conknet.com or on the “Message Board” where you posted your message.

In addition I will forward your message to the 119th AEB unit Reps, Jule Tervay Email, tervay@juno.com PH 713- 723-6706 and Gene Curry Email, hellcatww2@casadeaccess.com PH 541-856-3390

Im also looking for any information regarding Co B of the 119th engineer battilion. My grandfather is Irvin L Love and I FINALLY found out which division he was apart of. What I want to find out is which platoon he was in, unit, ect. Then from that I want to find his timeline as for where he was at, ect. The only information I have as of now is he won a Bronze star, received a purple heart, a French medal with a rooster on the front (trying to find more information on that as well) and another medal with a raised eagle on it that says "Efficeiency, Honor, Fidelity and on the back it reads Good conduct.

I have a trip planned for France in early September and would really like to see the locations of where my Grandpa was at.

Thanks for any information, help of any kind.

Chris L. Love
