Hi, my name is Sean. I'm trying to do research on a uniform and I was wondering, is there a list of Staff Sergeants who served with the 82nd Arm. Med.?

It's a Staff Sergeant uniform with a 12th Arm. Div. patch and a Philippine Dept. patch on it. It has a medical enlisted man's collar brass, so I assume he served with the 82nd Armored Medical Battalion.

I saw the picture of the 82nd NCOs together and it was pretty neat.

Please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Your uniform presents a dilema for us. The 12th Armored Division served in the European Theater. An 82nd Armored Medical Battalion member would not have a Phillipine Dept Patch for service in WWII. If you can send us pictures of the uniform showing the patches it will help us. We don't have a list of S/Sgts in the 82nd but we can search the full list.

Is it possible that elements from the 82nd Med. Bn. were sent to the Phillipines along with the 44th Tank Bn. when the 44th was detached from the 12th AD and sent to the Pacific Theater?
